Pick matching colors. Remember, in HSL:
To lighten a color, increase lightness, increase saturation the further you move the lightness away from 50%. Change the hue towards the closest of 60°, 180° or 300°.
To darken a color, decrease lightness, increase saturation the further you move the lightness away from 50%. Change the hue towards the closest of 0°, 120° or 240°.
